This is a personal project where I started collecting the Disabled Veterans of America license plate keychains, and thought of a way to display them as I collected them. I had a few ideas and finally landed on this version and color variation. I initially had spots you can see to the right of the US outline to house some of the smaller New England state tags, but eventually made room for them on the board and used those spots for just some extra keychains I had, showcasing some of the older keychains or ones in which I found especially cool looking. I had the background digitally printed onto canvas material, then mounted that within a 36" x 18" wood frame, and found some small gold L hooks to screw into each state. For those interested the hardest state I found to collect was Delaware, as well as Hawaii and Alaska.
